About
Our embedded lab
Firmware is only as good as its behaviour on real hardware. Our engineers measure, debug and test on physical boards every day.
Equipment
Measurement
- Oscilloscopes
- Logic analyzers
- Power analysis for low-power devices
Debug and programming
- JTAG/SWD debuggers
- Programming fixtures
Assembly and rework
- Soldering and rework stations
Test process
- 01
Bring-up
First power-on, rails and clocks measured against the design.
- 02
Functional tests
Peripherals, interfaces and firmware features on the target board.
- 03
Regression
Automated tests on hardware connected to CI where the project allows it.
- 04
Power and timing
Current profiles and timing verified for battery-powered devices.
Example test setup
A typical setup for a connected sensor: the device under test, a programmable power supply with current measurement, a debugger connected to the CI runner and a script that flashes each build, runs functional checks and records the current profile.
